I like him now,I really like him. He keeps his cards close to his chest and,I despair at his pissed off face for 90 minutes of every game

However,he conducts himself well. I think he has the best intentions of this club,it's fans and,it's investors at heart

Yeah he's the man he's already taken the club to new heights on such limited budget last season. Who knows where we'll end up this season coming I'm already pissing my pants with excitement of seeing us play away we were so good last season and lets just hope we have nearly as good a cup runs as we did last season

Like the run we had in Europe? He's had a year to get into the players heads and he's signing some real quality. Unfortunately he'll not have the timescale to achieve like other managers get (Rafa,Wenger,baconface,Moyes)

He's got the appeal of a gorilla who's been handed a unlimited supply of golden bananas. Once he's discorvered they're not eatable he starts ramming em up the other gorillas arses hoping they'll spit out fruit at the other end. "Me Les, you out! Bring banana! Tick me boxes!"

The next career move for him should be joining a pottery class for mentally disabled children (no offense to the mentally disabled children), which will be later this coming season when he's just barely managed to catch the 6-7:th spot with one of the biggest short-term investment in modern football. His last words in the club will be something degrading like "it's difficult to train a club without a winning mentality, unlike... ohh... United obviously, or Chelsea" to the enraged dismay of the fanboys. And Ferguson will agree of course...

Aside from that I love him. I wouldn't buy a car from him, but I do like him in a A.A. Milne sort of a way. Like he's f-ing Owl feeding Pooh with stupid advice and shit and blows Pooh's mind with the sheer wisdom and quasi-lingo only Owl will give you. I respect that. It takes balls to be a numpt of the highest order and sell a unproven story based purely on fiction with the certainty of your "self-made" billionaire Howard Trump or your "self-made" war hero Dubbya Bush.

I mean... any fool could succeed with hard work and proper effort, but it takes someone really special to make you think they've succeeded when their success is built on a pile of bullshit, with the bullshit itself being the real potential of success.

And I like that in him.

IMO, players and the manager are just people. I suppose they want to feel secure and safe, and need the supporters for that, to back them when the media and the doom merchants are on their backs. That way they bounce back quicker from any small set backs.

If MH starts to win away games, i'll forgive him for last season.

I believe hes a good manager, the only thing i doubt with him is, his man manager skills
and able to build a solid foundation and give the team a winning mentality.

hopefully the ones as Tevez can help him with the mentality part!

Rafa won champions league in his first full season. Wenger improved Arsenal from 5th to 3rd, Baconface took the rags to 2nd, Moyes took Everton to 7th after rescuing them from relegation in a month or two after taking over as manager.

Good managers don't need the excuse of time, and if people can start to talk about his actual achievements, rather than make excuses for the lack of achievement he will get as much time as the above 4.

I'm thinking they've maybe come round to him now Jim. I wasn't so keen on him meself "ffs why this arsehole?" was how I viewed his appointment.

Other ppl of the same opinion probably added "He'll do a Blackburn! he'll make us shit!"

I don't think he will.It seems as if he is stepping up that next level that's required.

I actually trust the guy,he's realistic. I think he has more than a basic grasp of whats required to build to compete at the top.No dis-respect to Rovers but he can probably afford and attract bigger players (yes I know the irony in buying back RSC for £14 more)

I repeat,he is the man. He did a good job at BR.Ok,he had a wank season last seaon and,sometimes his tactical decisions were poo (seemed to have no plan B) but it was his 1st season.

I think he and the players will do it this year and surprise a lot of folk.
