I Love Balotelli

The problem with city fans is they echo and mirror the negative press we get from the media. If we would have acquired Mario from the English lower leagues and we were still in the 'old second division' he'd be a hero. I, for one, love a forward who likes to get his foot in. It's time to remember who we are and where we've come from. We don't jump all over our players, especially one who's 21 years old: we're not Arsenal, United or any other plastic shit club who thinks they have the right to win every game.

I love Mario. I love the way he's played this season, and I'll be singing his name, as loud and as drunk as i can on Wednesday.

If Mario goes, they're only gonna pick someone else to have a go at. Technically gifted and good for a laugh. I say stick by him too.

It was funny when he got sent off against Arsenal wasn't it?

It was also funny when he got sent off against Liverpool and what about when he tried to stamp on Scott Parkers head?

We don't need a player we can't trust. He is a red card waiting to happen.

I do like him, and wasn't bothered (would of been if he would of got sent off and not scored the winner)about him stamping on Scott Parker's head: but i honestly couldn't say that I found it funny.

I think that's bit weird.

I've given Balotelli as much flak as anyone over the last 36 hours, but that right there is a disgrace from the club's official site, a proper full-on no-holds-barred disgrace.

Sorry, but not even the club can defend the indefensible....player or not. It's not as if it's an isolated incident. It's been time and time again since he joined the club. Even the other players are starting to get pissed off with it all.
The irony of Peter Ferguson saying it 'offers a fresh chance for another bite at the story today' is not lost on me as his ill-thought-out words have just provided the gutter press with yet another stick to beat us with.

How long until we see a "City Website Slams Balotelli's 'Appalling Behaviour'" headline? It's just rank amateurish public relations. I'm actually astonished it got cleared for publication.
a bit of Ferguson revisionism has occurred I see
Yes, it seems like it's always him these days. Mario Balotelli's apology via his agent for his behaviour at Arsenal offers a fresh chance for another bite at the story today.

You were the one to choose only 3. I said to compare his goal scoring record to other strikers his age, why don't you compare him against some more if you don't think 3 is enough?

Yellow and red cards wasn't the point. The point was that you were claiming not to have seen anything special about him. I'm not disputing that his discipline is very poor

Becuase there aren't that many strikers of that age....certainly not that play for comparable teams. No point in comparing him to young strikers in teams fighting for relegation for example...or teams in other leagues for that matter.

There aren't many strikers that age? Do you think strikers are born at 26 years of age the finished article? It would explain why you don't see much talent in Balo that's for sure

Maybe you should stop and think as to why most other strikers that age are fighting relegation when Balo has been challenging for the title and winning trophies whilst being coveted by some of the best clubs in the world...

He needs to grow up but I haven't given up on him yet.

Look how long that ''GBH Keano'' bastard lasted at the swamp and Mario isn't intentionally out to maim like that **** was

It's like being in a long term relationship. He'll do things that make you pull your hair out and question why on earth you bother, but at the end of the day you still realise you'd rather be with them than without them. After a game I'l be screaming at him to get out, then I'l calm down and realise we still have an untold amount more to see from him, and I really don't want to see it whilst he's in someone else's shirt. We just need to sign Ashley Young to give him an endless supply of penalties to take.
