I might be wrong but I doubt it

I thought Michael Johnson was the best City prospect since Paul Lake. Unfortunately he was also an idiot.

Was?

Still is, IMHO!

I was talking in the past tense because he hasn't played for City for almost two years and I can't see anything changing.

But you're right. He probably still is an idiot.

I thought Dabo would of been a good signing and at the time Lazio fans were sorry to see him go. Corradi played for a few big clubs and could of been a bargain for us.

Ireland was one of the best midfielders in the league for one season then started to believe his own hype, now struggles to get into a shit villa team! oh what could of been! surprised Hughes has never tried to sign him he seemed to get the best out of him.

As with the earlier post regarding Tiatto, I used to hate seeing Zabba's name on the team sheet as he was a yellow card ready to happen. However he has seemed to have become less reckless.

As for Dzeko I am sure that the majority of City fans realise the hard work that he gets through during the match. He drags defenders all over runs the channels endlessly and always makes himself available. I would start him every time over Mario.

Two spring to mind for me:

1. Stephen Ireland. He looked world class that season playing long passes to Robinho. Was sorry when he left but, with hindsight, Villa wuz robbed.

2. Robbie Fowler. I was convinced he was always on the point of coming good again. Never did though.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but he did come with a bit of a reputation, and arrived on a Bosman.

Yeah, I was wrong about Stephen Ireland. Thought he would be the future of the club, captain by now, and strutting about the field like Cruyff or Puskas in their pomp.

Haha, me too. Although he was a sandwich short in his privat life his football brain was on another level especially when Robinho arrived. Shame his career has spiraled downward.

I was also wrong about fat bob, thought he would score loads of goals

How many goals will Edin have to score before he is fully embraced?
Have you ever admitted that you were wrong about a player?

He scores goals but he really needs to work on his football skills, poor first touch, gives the ball away a lot, misses more than he scores and with the number of chance's he gets a game he should be a least sticking one of them away, last week his shot from 10yards out was going out for a throw in ffs before Tevez stuck a leg out

I like the lad but we can buy much better
