I miss Richard Dunne

would love to see him lift the cup for Villa.

Top player for us and some of our 'fans' shopuld be ashamed at the way they wanted him out as soon as we had a few quid.

Working with a brummie he said ' I dont know why the fuck you got rid of dunne he is solid'.

So true for years he had an inexperienced defence to shore up, he never complained and got on with his job. His mistakes came from covering everyone elses arse.

Remember the days with distin at his peak we had one of the best defences in the prem. Would have him back straight away.

It's a disgrace that he's gone. I blame Garry Cook as much as Hughes - don't forget his comment's when ADUG bought us.

Villa have the best defence in the league with 18 conceded utd and Chelsea are on 19. Dunne has been very good for us this season partly because we have a decent back 4 and he doesn't need to cover for anyone else. I'm guessing he wasn't like this for you or you would never have sold him. He is in the running for our player of the season so far. When we signed him I wasn't that happy, I thought he was too slow but he is actually pretty quick.

He is a tank the only player I ever seen muscle dunne was Roberts when wigan first came up.

I like Dunnie, but I dont miss him. He was a good player for us and he gave us good service. He was, however, always prone to mistakes and own goals. It was a good time for him to move on and it has clearly given him a new lease of life and that is brilliant for him.

Move on, he's a player who plays for another club.

Its not a question of missing him, its a question of "did we do the right thing".

And its proven that we did, Lescott, Toure and Kompany are all better than him, he served us well did Dunnie, it was time he moved one.

I think now its time we did....
