I miss Richard Dunne

Its not a question of missing him, its a question of "did we do the right thing".

And its proven that we did, Lescott, Toure and Kompany are all better than him, he served us well did Dunnie, it was time he moved one.

I think now its time we did....

Nah they are not better than Dunne, they are not worse than Dunne but all we did was spend a lot of money to stay still. Selling Dunne was stupid but its done so onward and upward and all that.

He wasan average player playing in an average team. Now he's an average player in a decent team. Prone to calamity, but loyal and a 100% player. We don't miss him.

Kompany and Lescott over Dunne any day but Toure?? I'd rather have dunne than him, but let's see Toure under Mancini.

This was the most terrible thing that Hughes ever did, and we as a club are the worse off for it.

I miss him too. He was city through and through and I felt like he grew up with us at city. Top guy all round. He didnt have the best of seasons last year but that was mostly down to Richards being out of form and dragging him down. The signs were there this season that he'd be back to his best and think him and Toure could have been a top partnership. If we'd have got thru to carling final it would have been sad as we would have been playing against him. Hope he gets the winner in the final.

Get over it you sad bastards.

The move was the best thing for Dunne and City.

He'd given us his best and it was time to move on. For both of us.

Romanticise the man all you like but we're better off in defence now.

Loved him when he was here but he's Villa now so that's that. That's football. Always has been.

We need to move on.

I wish Anelka still played for us, I wish Robinho was still here, I wish I was still 12 and we still played at Maine Road but it's in the past now and we have to look forward.

It's not like it used to be, lose a player and never replace him, we replaced Dunne with Lescott, a younger better prospect. I'm happy with that. I'm grateful to Dunne for the service he gave us and I'm sure the feeling is mutual but he's Villa now and I'm still City. City come first.
