I remember when we were s@@t

Cant remember now if it was against Oxford or QPR, but we went 3 -0 down a few minutes afte half time,- the only time I never stayed until the end.

I was at home in Warrington watching on Sky by the time the full time whistle went.

can't remember which season, probably claudio reyna's last season, when we were second or top of the league after three games. he came out with the statement that manchester city is the real deal this year, and i actually believed him and thought we would actually win the league. then after countless losses and mediocre results i still believed after i would do the math points wise. we'd have to win all our remaining games and everyone else to lose all theirs, but i still believed

even then i was a glory hunter

not a very bright one though

It's still raw after all these years. Still the only time I've cried at a football game. The sudden realisation that we were actually shit.

It's been a long way back...

The most shocking thing about that was the players... Hartford, Tueart, Reeves, Caton... Was at the game, but forgot that players of this calibre were actually involved.

I think we have all seen us when we were very very shit but I think the frustrating times for me were when we were a premier league team but had no right to be there. We would always get dumped out of the cup by shit teams. Doncaster and chesterfield away spring to mind.

I remember it too, and i miss it TBF, it so much easier being midtable. Life is easier.

Now you need to win every game or the weekend becomes one long depression.

Away to Brighton, Carling Cup loss on penalties........that was the first game after beating pompy 6-0 iirc.

Yeah and then lost 2-1 to Wigan. That 6-0 match was one of the greatest city performances I have seen up until last season.
