What happened to that bloke who scored for Olimpiakos, looks a great prospect...
Fook me I did not know that was Yaya! Remember the lad being gutted cos Rivaldho didn't play.

Well at least we had our cup runs....

Shrewsbury 1979.

Halifax 1980.

Standing in 3 inches of shitty Shea ground mud- watching shit - Priceless!

Shrewsbury in the cup in the late 70's coming back in a thick fog on the motorway.

Macclesfield away....we won 1-0 with an injury time winner (i like them) from Shaun Goater. I remember thinking how far we had fallen down the world pecking order. Great turn out but we spent most of the game cheering a kids game of football over the back wall of the stand as the game was a non event. It rained for a bit then was dead sunny and then we had hailstones. It seemed like we had all 4 seasons of the weather during that match.

Derby away...I think we lost 4-0 with all goals coming late on. This was billed as a top of the table clash but we were already slipping in shite mode.

Derby away ....I think it was a 6-0 thumping this time.

Stockport away... we lost 3-1 in 1997 after being down 3-0 after 25 minutes or so. Shouting off off off to Kit Symmons. Pissed down all afternoon and ruined my new jacket in the open to the elements railway end. You're not fit to wear the shirts was aired and shit Kymmon's lost the captaincy in the next few days.

Stockport at home..... <a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHHZMjKt9CA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHHZMjKt9CA</a>
What an embarrassment but good character building. Another sell out.

After defeats at home to Preston and Reading in October in the old third division we drew with Gillingham 0-0 at home in November. Joe Royle pissed off loads of City fans saying our home performances were so poor because of the sell out crowds and high expectations. He also implied that we were on the players backs. I had a season ticket but thought fcuk it...I don't wanna be blamed for making city shite. I missed the 0 -0 with Bristol at home and the 2-1 defeat at York. I missed the 1-0 win at Wrexham and the win at home to Stoke on boxing day. Never missed a run of games like that since.

No I binned it ....Joe Royle was blaming me for City being shite and I thankfully took it to heart.
I reckon I saved myself about £50 dipping out of york that day....what a result!!!!

Lol, the Inter Baku guy, is our Tskhadze, he was our real class player when we were first in League 2, but got injured straight away. If my memory serves me rightly he scored during the Blackpool game (first game of the season and the game it was announced we would move from Maine Road), then got injured away at Fulham, we got beat 3-0 and Peter Beardsley was playing for them the year after he was on lone for us. We gave him a jovial jeer as he walked past the away end at half time. The rest of the night was an all nighter in Leyton, I miss those days, not so much the football! Just the laughs.

Lincoln City home and away in the League Cup and 0-0 vs Bristol Rovers is the two games that I remember when we were shite.

Didn't he score a couple at the start of the season before getting crocked? He was very van-buyten like with constantly heading everything away.
