I love this part of the season - checking the fixtures to see where we can win points and where everyone else will slip up.

The next three games are key I think - we have to get at least 7 points, to win it realistically 9.

Spurs have Arsenal (H), Villa (A) and Bournemouth (H) - 6-9 points probable
Leicester Watford (A), Newcastle (H) and Palace (A) - 5-7 points probable
Arsenal Spurs (A), West Brom (H), Everton (A) - 5-7 points probable

We could be within 5-6 points from the top with a game in hand after those games. We cannot fall further behind though. If we do I'll have to concede it's over.

Whether we can or not is incidental at the moment, it really depends on whether we want to win it.

The difference between the desire and hunger shown in cup matches vs that shown in league matches is startling. The Champions League draw will be key. If we get Barca/Bayern in the quarter final I think the squad will realise we really need to push for the league, particularly after we get battered in the first leg. If we get an easier draw, we'll probably remain just as disinterested in winning the league and it'll be too late by the time we do get knocked out.

I think it's over. I'm yet to see a convincing performance in the league since before Christmas. I can't see us going on a winning run, especially with the fixtures we've got.
