What about Jimmy Greaves debut for West Ham against us in 1970...
I remember is pissed down all day and he ran riot!
I think on one goal Corrigan booted the ball out, then turned round to walk back and Greaves booted back into the net for a goal! I think we got beat either 1-5 or -1-6.

Missed the 10-1 (could only afford the one match that week so went the Wednesday before vs Boro who were either top or near top at the time thinking it would be a better match than Huddersfield the following Saturday)
Was at the 5-1!

Sure I saw something similar happen to Morely too in that era?
Missed Bradford away
Was at the Stoke Boxing Day away, but not in fancy dress.
Was at the Kippax's Last Stand
Saw Kinky's wonder goal vs Southampton
Missed the Stoke away relegation.
Missed York away
Was at the Mansfield AW home game
Was at the Play Off final
Missed the Blackburn away promotion
Was at Maine Road to watch Rat Boy pass to Goater as we put 3 past the bastards.
Was at Lokeren
Was at the last league game at Maine Road vs Southampton
Was at CoMS to see Trevor Sinclair et al put 4 past the bastards
Was at CoMS to see little Gio score our only shot of the game as we mugged those bastards
Was at the FA Cup Semi Final to see us slam those bastards
Missed the Final
Was at QPR to win the League

Saw Steve Lomas swallow his tongue (and break his leg at the same time) away at Palace in 95 in the FA Cup IIRC

i wasnt there at york away along with a packed 1.000.000 capacity stadium according to this forum, i wasnt there at the play off final, i wasnt there at the fa cup semi or final, i wasnt at the 6-1, i wasnt at the QPR game (was at mary d's)

i suppose im a glory hunting rag bandwagon jumper?

But missed 76 league cup final, the 5.1 & both games when we did double over them under Sven

Does it annoy anyone else that the guy in the middle of the pitch on his knees had "I've been there 13.05.12." on his shirt?

Surely it should be "I was there...".

Even that wouldn't have been technically correct as the moment was happening and thus the present tense should've been used, but it would have made it much more palatable.

I was there at every home match league and cup the last 25 years or so, and many single home matches for a few yaers befoer that, and some local aways. Plus Wembley 99, and the 3 Wembleys last year.

But the big news surely must be i was at the auto windscreens home match - that shows loyalty eh?!?!?!?!? ;)
(even though we all wanted to lose ahem!)
