The winners of the Europa League should really get automatic qualification into the Champions League. Not only would it make the tournament that bit more attractive but it would raise the incentive of the teams to perform well.

I spent most of my childhood wishing City could compete in more competitions than just the lower leagues so I'm happy to see us competing in Europe these days even if it is the lesser of the European competitions.
Having not witnessed us win one single trophy in my lifetime, I feel it'd be somewhat short sighted of me to dismiss the Europa out of hand.
As De Jong said today, the more cups you compete for the better the chance you have of lifting one and success breeds success. If winning the Europa gives our squad the belief they can next season win the title and/or the CL then great! Even if it means we might just win the FA cup next season with our new found belief then that's great too.
In fact, until we've won at least 10 trophies, I'll consider any cup an important aspect of our season.

Apparently, some rags who work with some people off here claim to know that some 'celebrity' posters from here are actually rags taking the piss.
