Ian Brown was a scally bully at school. Right bloke, right time for him to sing with John Squire, who was extremely talented - art, music, woodwork. Sorry folks but Ian Brown was a bit of an arse. And he can't sing.

Many famous people are just ordinary co-op to the pint for a bottle of milk n loaf types much of the time. I've spoken to a few famous people over the years who I've mostly found sound when they aren't asked stupid questions. I won't say who, I'm not trying to compete with GDM. I'm not in his league for meeting celebs: )
 
I met him through work a few times about 15 years ago and he was a polite down to earth nice guy. Also know a bloke who went to school with him who has nothing negative to say about him.
That tweet is just dumb as F tho. Who said no such thing as bad publicity

My old fella said he was a gobshite at school too, didn't use the term "bully" but a cocky gobshite definitely. I suppose people can change, i'd rather forget most of my behaviour aged 15-19.

Rather than quoting bollox out of context willy-nilly , why can’t people do some basic research on the original source and understand the actual context.
 
Ian has always been known for his anti establishment views. The no mask no vaccine view is not exclusive to him there's a certain percentage who believe this also. Don't remember the Melody Maker interview but the comments don't look good. Would like to see the full transcript to see if it has been taken out of context or been selective. Remember the Roses never did play media game and there's a few in the media wanted to stitch them up. They did a hatchet job on Shaun and Bez one time as all. As another poster said the music changed my life so will always love them for that.

The Roses was and still are punks or should i say Ian Brown still has that punk mentality.

I honestly think he isn't on twitter or does twitter Ric, am positive that someone else does it for him but it's still connected to him.
He has the old punk attitude of not giving a shit what people think, that was always the roses outlook on things.

Can imagine lots of the mundane stuff on his social media is done by someone else, but doubt they’d post something like that unless he specifically requested it.

Like you say, he probably doesn’t give a shit what people think but he’s a bellend for putting that out regardless, and that’s from someone who loves the Roses.
