I remember wearing my 'Ian Curtis-RIP' badge at Wembley 1981.

A bad few months for alternative/rock music. Malcolm Owen of The Ruts and AC/DC's Bon Scott also succumbed to drugs and booze.

Was lucky enough to have seen em play live, brilliant, one of the best live bands i have ever seen. A tiny venue at Bowden Vale, you were right on top of the band, the stage was no more than a foot high, it was up close and personal.

They were playing Transmission at the ground as the teams came out for the second half towards the end of last season, they should play it all the time in my opinion...
