Curtis was born in Stretford, most likely his old man was a Blue.
Nowt unlikely about it at all.

I'm pretty sure the old City magazine that stopped being sold in the shops a few years ago did a feature on Curtis where either his widow or daughter (can't recall which?) said he was a Blue.
