Portsmouth cannot loan him from Chelsea as they already have Sahar (only 1 loan from anyone team allowed) I think they can afford the fee of 9 mill or the wage of £80k but not both. Krancajars(spelling) injury has removed the best chance of funding a deal, so chill.

know what you mean mate im on holiday at the mo and just want it confirmed one way or another so i can enjoy the last fews days without wanting to switch the lap top on every hour to see what the latest news is on the transfer.

I'm still worried that it won't come off but I can't see why Hughes would talk so positively about it if SWP was unsure and still considering his options so that must be a half-decent sign at least.

i think the 80k a week will have fucked off any of suitors to be fair. Only the likes of newcastle outside of the 'big four' would pay that much, and they are looking to tighten their strings.

Having said that, who the fuck goes back to the club they were sold from after 3 years for half the original transfer fee having been deemed largely a flop to recieve somwhere in the region of a 20k a week payrise from the deal they were on and probably four times what they were on at the orignal club.

The world is mental.

there all carrying the supposed medical today story.

its 10am, they dont just get you to say aaah whilst they look into your mouth and put your balls in a spoon and ask you to cough.

Will take a couple of hours.

Then should know this afternoon. Wouldnt be surprised if its after the game so Hughes can spin some positive news on the back of a dissapointing euro exit.....

well I am sure we wont all have long to wait. With the statements from Hughes ('very hopeful') and Ian Wright ('decision made') then today should close it one way or t'other
