Looks like Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be making his way to the Premier League!

#MCFC and #CFC have both began talks with his representatives
How reliable is he?

RT @Jon_LeGossip: Napoli's de Laurentiis to Tutto Napoli: "Ibrahimovic will not play with Cavani. He has been promised a transfer." #PSG
- Here we go

This makes the Cavani transfer look even more stupid - paid circa £20m over the odds for a player and then drive you best player out of the club as well - probably for a low fee... In all honesty in the short term I can't see swapping Ibra for Cavani being a huge step forward for PSG - on the basis the exercise will have cost them (net) over £50m with agents fees etc.

Indeed. But this was never their plan. Zlatan probably decided to leave before, probably already when Ancelotti announced his departure. Maybe he would have stayed if PSG brought in Capello or Mourinho, two of his other favourite coaches, but Blanc came. And the first thing Blanc said was that from now on French is the only language we speak in the locker room. That doesn't go well with Zlatan.

So Cavani is a replacement, because PSG know they won't be able to hold on to Ibra.
A Zlatan + Cavani partnership would have killed everything in its way though.

-- Sun Jul 14, 2013 2:33 pm --

Napolis boss Aurelio De Laurentiis confirms the sale of Cavani to PSG, and says:

"Cavani will not play with Ibrahimovic, he has already been promised to someone else."

There you go.

I'd have him tomorrow.... Like Mario in terms of publicity but with the goals added

He's a beast of a player

I bet the Croatian's were gutted when he chose Sweden

Ibra is the fucking man. I wouldn't worry about his age too much, he is an incredible athlete and has a good few years left in him.

Isn't his father Bosnian? Like Dzeko... So he chose Sweden instead of Bosnia.

His father is from Bosnia and his mother from Croatia. But it was never a question of choosing. He's born in Sweden, and never even visited those countries until he came there with the national team a few years ago.

Here's a an excellent interview for anyone interested in "who" Zlatan is (English subtitles):
