Ibrahimovic

Robinho wouldn't get into Barcelona's first team, so why would they exchange Ibra - who they just spent 45m euros plus Eto'o for - for Robinho? I don't know why people keep saying, "swap Robinho for Ibra". Barcelona are looking for around 35m euros for Ibra if they sell him.

35m euros is nothing for Ibra. The merchandise sales alone would cover his transfer fee.

Not to mention the triple word score on scrabble!

his last season at inter.

Look at above vid, Ibra's goals always come from the winger's feed. He is just the exact type of finisher that Beller and AJ were crying out for the whole season.

bit of a daft question............. if he was that awesome there wouldn't be so many negative comments. no?

Those who actually have seen the majority of his performances over the last decade have another opinion! You guys mainly (generally) rate him based on a couple of CL games.

Give Zlatan a free role just behind a striker and he will give you this. trust me

His goal celebrations are far too half hearted, he definitely doesn't have the goal celebrations to fit in in this league.

We'll see though, Mancini knows what he'd get, but the money quoted is pretty silly.

Nice to see Cruyff singing his praises there, but what could possibly one of the best players ever know? Or indeed Mourinho who said he's the best player he's ever worked with. Or Capello who said he's the best striker in the world. :)

Over here we really don't need to convince anyone though, we let his performances speak for himself. He does have dips in form every now and then, hopefully this latest one will be what could lure him here. Still the terms would have to be pretty damn good...let's face it, anyone would rather be in Barcelona than Manchester, and FCB rather than MCFC, and Ibra's biggest goal is still winning the CL and he won't do it with us next year. So maybe we don't even have the chance to sign him...not being in the CL certainly heightens the price right there. We do have Robinho who could go the other way but the wages would have to be pretty silly or he'd much rather go to a CL team if he were to go anywhere.

35 million for Ibra, wouldn't that mean they gave eto'o away?

He was out of contract at the end of this season anyway and was always going to go, so they used him well in a swap deal. A bit like we could with Robinho.

Daily Fail today:

Barcelona have offered Manchester City and Chelsea the chance to sign striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for about £40m
