Ibrahimovic

We need 4 strikers, most of the time one or more will be injured, jet lagged, tired, suspended which means we will only usually have three, we will play two games a week most weeks of the season so will need rotation. We will sometimes play 1 sometimes 2 and sometimes 3 of those 4 players playing . Look how many times we had to go with 1 this season or had to play Jo or roque or other non ideal options. In Europa that was acceptable in the group stages in champs league we would be smashed

Must say even living in Spain never quite understood the fascination with Mata
A decent player but not a world beater. Maybe he provides good balance for Silva and being mates would be good for the dressing room. Thought we were looking for a speedster and Mata certainly isn´t that
In Bob we trust

Who did the scousers say that about?!!

(joking)

Fair play to the OP for putting his head on the block.

After getting it so wrong a few weeks ago, and taking the flak, he must be confident he's got this one right... 'cos he must be expecting even more abuse if he calls it wrong again!

And it goes against all the other ITKs suggestions. Brave!

Nice one...

More bullshit from the bullshit master!

Remember, this is Bombo who said 'ill reveal the details of some mega news after the cup final" and then went silent.

Don't believe the hype, this guy should be banned for life.

Bit like arguing with a ref that comment. Not gonna happen!

Dont be silly. Not going around the whole this is a forum for rumours and gossip but when Bombo made the comments he did pre-cup final he had a reason.

This is a place for everyone's opinions and news, info, gossip, wishlists etc.

Ibrahimovic is all talk

Ibra has been a league-winner eight years in a row, and nine in the last ten. No player in the world can match these results.

Ibra is all but talk. He is a champion.

Leave him alone. Why is it ok to personally insult this guy, and yet even the slightest politest doubting of Tolmie is not allowed? Your post is unfair, at least this guy names names

Bombo's stuck his balls on the chopping block with this announcement - hope he doesn't end up losing the family jewels :-)

Interesting, Ibra seems to have been around forever but he's still 29 (almost 30). This is one signing I really don't know about and I'd be worried we are getting our own Shevchenko. On the plus side as a 30 year old it looks like his game doesn't depend on pace and would fit in with Mancini's likes and his desire for CL experience.

I can also see this being a cause of a bust-up in the top offices (as has been rumoured lately) as the suits wouldn't want to buy a 30 year old who will have zero resale value in 3 years (maybe £3-5m?). What I want to know, why can't we get him on loan like AC Milan did, wages only wouldn't be a problem.

So, worried as fukc we are getting another Robbie Fowler in for a final payday but potentially excited as he has such a record of success and is a genuine 1 in 2 goals/game striker.

Gonna have to sit on the fence for this one..... leaning towards excited :-)

He's been pretty clear (and pretty wrong) many times before. For some reason that does not stop people believing in bullshit bombo and giving him the attention that he craves.

Granted he has won 8 league titles in different countries on the run, but in each of those titles another 10 players had something to do with it too. Not dismissing the record as it is impressive, but the flip side is that Jonathan Greening has a CL medal, as does the hapless Mcmanaman.
I don't ever remember an outstanding performance of Ibra's v any of the English clubs in the CL ties too. At almost 30 years of age, with the fee it would cost and the wages he would be on, (not that it matters to us but you see my point), I would prefer us to either stick with Dzeko and hope he comes good, go for someone younger or go for a season of the Drog, who we all know will do it here.

Depends if you believe what he says or not?

"We have a great project that we are working on and I'll certainly be here,"

He also comments on how important Vieira has been to him.

Whats your take on this Danamy ? You always seem to be there or thereabouts ! ;-)

Not heard nothing on Ibra to be honest

Nobody really knows what's happening with Tevez as yet, so any talk of main strikers will only be feelers put out and not dead certs.

In my opinion we've got a future Ibra in the making with Džeko ;-)

Agreed mate, having paid £25 mill + for Dzeko I don't see the need for Ibra.
