Iconic City games attended

In recent years the 4-2 win over Arsenal. I had until then only ever seen us be outplayed by superior Arsenal teams but that day and from then on we have had the upper hand. They really don't like it up 'em. From Wenger disappearing up the tunnel after the 3-0 spanking we gave them in the league cup (My favourite Mark Hughes moment as he waved to his back and looked at the cameras arms outstretched in perplexity) to their fans being foot stomping, snot-lipped children. But I digress slightly, that 4-2 win was a cracking hot sunny day and for me signalled the way this club was going to be going under the new ownership.

And any excuse to post this. Was it really six years ago?

That rags at home in 63. Was that the one Alex Dawson punched the ball in the net and everyone bar the ref saw it. Things never change.

No, it was an Albert Quixall penalty at the Scoreboard end. I was there with my Dad and my Auntie (Dad's sister) and Uncle in the Scoreboard end.

These are personal so probably not shared universally but for me..
85 nots county away
85 charlton home
89 Bradford away
Semi v rags (changed the entire mentality of the club)
Final v Stoke
QPR obviously
And

2016 barca away, finally break the hoodoo

Most iconic the 5-1 in 1989 I was 10 and stood on the kippax for the first time. Absolute bedlam when we got two in a minute.

And everyone's forgetting the first ever game at the Etihad against total network solutions. I remember being sat in the ground taking in the size of the place compared to what we had at Maine road

Halifax in the FA Cup. Spent the morning clearing the pitch of snow, spent the afternoon jaw dropped in disbelief.

What about the return leg in Cardiff's millennium stadium
"Shit ground, no fans! ... Shit ground, no fans!"
