If City and the rags were to merge...

I could've seen it years ago, but today I just can't see it.

Why do we even need them?

in my view, considering their financial issues I think they need us more than we need them.

Football is a different business now, merging and creating a whole new brand with it's own identity would be a disaster.

Yes.

Hart
Richards - Kompany - Vidic - Clichy
Valencia - Yaya - Carrick - Silva
Rooney - Aguero

De Gea; Smalling, Lescott, Barry, Nasri, Tevez, Van Persie.

fuck that for a laugh, you'd have carrick over barry? and smalling over zabaleta? time for bed

Can't stand that rag shit ... thank the lord it never happened!

Wouldn't take a single player from their squad. Most of them are over-hyped shit and the likes of shrek have an appalling attitude. Once baconface leaves they'll be in serious trouble.

I was reading the MUEN article about the proposed merger in the 60s and it got me thinking. If City and the rags were to merge against our wishes, would you continue supporting the club? Forgive my ignorance but is there modern example of anything similar ever happening?

I'd take Valencia in a heart beat. They can keep the rest.

If it happened in the 60's yes as I wouldn't know any different. But if it happened in the present day, I would start supporting Maine Road FC.

FC Maine Road Shirley
