It’s a real shame as he’s probably more astute than all the ex footballers who are on with the commentators put together and I’ll never understand how out of all the ex City players Micah bagged the studio gig

I think simply because for their format they value entertainment over analysis.

(I'm not making a judgement about that or Micah, I just think that's what the relative priorities are).

There was a commentator on BT Spite covering a City Chumps game against Club Brugge away (1-5), rattling off great in-game and history stats for us and was literally pleading/encouraging Cole Palmer to come off the subs bench and score his first CL goal, which he duly did.

Never heard from him again. :/
