If Mancini is so bad

It was how the season has gone.

Mancini's name was sung loud and proud the first 10 minutes of the game. Then the realisation of how shit we were playing started to dawn on us.

HT comes and we are hoping we turn it round. Yes we were awful but we can beat Wigan we have by far the better players.

2nd half kicks off and Mancini's name is sung again. Loud and proud once more with a couple more anti Pellegrini songs.

Around the 60 minute mark silence in our end as we realise again its fucking shite to watch and somehow we are getting outplayed again. Tevez is taken off for Rodwell and most fans haven't got a clue why Tevez had to be the one to go off.

Unsurprisingly we continue to struggle, many fans notice the 3 at the back change and start to worry as that never works. Some even asking to quicken the pace (that's never going to happen)

We then go on to lose and a lot of fans are gutted at how we threw it away. Most realising the striking similarity between yesterday and the game 3 weeks ago at the Etihad.

You've put the whole 90mins into a nutshell with that post....well done....you should be a journalist

Don't post much on here as not much happens, Mancini going will be a massive step forward and something I've been waiting for for two years.

He's likeable says some things that make sense and has presided over some good results.
I don't give him much credit for that unfortunately and he seems to not learn from his mistakes.

We nearly failed in our title winning season, his inability to get the team playing more directly and with more pace when playing pin ball wizard through the middle isn't working is bizarre.
For all the skill David Silva has he is the most over rated footballer I've seen at the club, so one dimensional, slows every attack down to a stand still, can't finish and seems unable to vary his game which in turn means we can't change our game.

The team hasn't turned up for at least 15 matches this season, his slow paced build up has destroyed the game of all of our 3 strikers. We have no players who seem capable of running at a team apart from the lad he bought and wouldn't pick.
Throw in the bizarre substitutions and poor management, I for one will be happy when he's gone.
I'd sack him tomorrow so at least a couple of our youngsters could get a game, another of Mancini's failings.
Some will trot out the old cups on the shelf tripe, a team of expensive players achieved that!

To be fair, I don't buy much of the back three stuff. Most times he changed to a back three it was because we were playing absolutely shit anyway.

I think you're right to an extent, but usually it finishes us off. Killed us off against Ajax, Dortmund, Everton, Southampton (IIRC), and now fucking WIGAN.

Not to mention zonal marking set pieces. We did it yesterday for their headed goal. Only two people moving was Watson and I believe Barry. Ajax put three past us due to that shit... and 8 months later we lose to Wigan because of it. Our player was sent off from the shitty square balls we always start playing when we go three at the back.

It was a set piece you tool.. everyone was back.. and as for zonal marking, its given us the best defence in the league..

Zonal marking plays no part in open play. It's only for set pieces and we are amongst the highest conceders of goals from set pieces.

The problem is some of the players. They are rich and spoiled and they dislike Mancini.

I say: FUCK THE PLAYERS WHO DON'T RESPECT THE BOSS.

I want some of these players to suffer. Some of these young millionaries are SCUM. They did not show up yesterday. Fuck them

Keep Mancini so he can fuck some of these players right off to the transfer list.

Fcuking players can't beat fucking Wigan. Then they don't deserve fuck! And who the fuck blames Mancini for a fucking subsitutiion after 70 minutes when we still haden't manage to score against one of the worst team in the premiership?!?

RANT!

So which of the players from yesterday would you get Mancini to "fuck right off" because not many played well. You see this is the issue the club has. If it was one or two who weren't performing to their potential then you can single them out, get rid and replace. Unfortunately when it is the majority of the squad (and I do believe that the majority of our players have not performed to their potential this season) then surely you have to ask the questions why is that happening and who ultimately is responsible for large numbers of the playing squad underperforming. I refuse to believe that it is some bizarre coincidence that so many players have been so relatively poor this season by their own high standards.

Yes. There seems to be a huge dispute in the club at the moment with the players turning their back to Mancini.

Who I blame? I blame the fucking captain. Vincent Kompany. He is supposed to hold this team togheter. Be Mancinis right hand. He dont care.

And what about Yaya. I'm sick of his lazy face. His body language says it all. He is supposed to be the role model for the other ones out there. Yesterday was the FA Cup Final. He never showed up. And never gets any stick for it cause he is our 'best' player. NO HE IS NOT!

I let Mancini decide who is going to leave. Everyone who disrespect him should fuck off. Even if it means to buy a whole new team. But personally I would get rid of Yaya. Send the players a message.

The thing is. If the starting Manchester City eleven had the same heart as Wigan did yesterday we would have won 7-0. That's not Mancinis fault. He could have played fucking Samaras and it wouldnt have made a difference.

No mate. Heard nothing as I was on my way back from the match. It doesn't take a genius to see were shit yesterday.

We've been shit all season apart from about 4 games. We've become slow, one dimensional and extremely arrogant in all departments. We should have kicked on this season on the coat-tails of the last but now cos of that prick we're having to rebuild our squad cos he's fucking.

He's fast becoming a very expensive mistake

Yes-The prick who delivered what we only ever dreamed of hey mate..I give up I really do.

Oh well that's ok then. We've done it once, all our dreams have come true let's just fuck it off then.

This is exactly the sort of happy clapping that seperates us from the big teams. Small team mentality. No wonder we still get fucking laughed at

Thats it isnt it pal..you cant fucking stand being laughed at.. you poor sod my heart bleeds..

Being able to take it on the chin has and always has defined City fans.. Man up fella ffs...

And you call us happy clappers with a small team mentality..

well at least we can take it as men..

Happy clapping?? Listen I will debate Mancini all day long but please do not fucking disrespect his cv at our club-you know the fucking club that went 35yrs winning absolutely fuck all.The clubs whos fans wanted the banner ripping down.
Mancini did this along with the players.
Let's just revert to type and sack the manager every 2 yrs hey...

Here is the analogy I would use:
(From my experience the majority of the Inners are 40+ years old)

A guy, who hasn't had a girlfriend for 40 years, suddenly gets one. She is smoking hot and has sex with him all the time. However, this girl is a massive woman, she is a gold digger who spends a ridiculous amount of money. She constantly berates this guys friends and family and causes arguments for no reason. But this guy keeps with her because he has been so lonely for 40 years he can't bare the thought of returning to what he had before.

I (20) have had two season tickets (when they were cheaper) and the majority of guys at a game are over 40. They have the most disposable income and have also know the bad times.

As a younger guy who hasn't know the anguish, I can look at it objectively and remove emotion. Mancini is a good manager, he will go down as one of our greatest. However, he has many flaws. Klopp or Pellegrini can do an equal job with us in terms of silverware, whilst also providing the club with financial sustainability moving forward and whilst improving our playing style.

Remember, you might sing his name at a match, you might love him. But do the players love him? Nasri wouldn't even block a free kick for his manager. Under Mourinho any player would take a ball to the face with pride because they love him.

Sorry but anyone who uses the term 'Happy Clappers' is a twat. Seriously, what is it supposed to mean?

Why was everyone repeatedly singing his name yesterday??

When the rumours were flying about before the game the majority of fans I spoke to were going nuts hence the 'you can stick your Pellegrini up.....'

If we want him we should back him and continue to back him. If we don't, we should let the club do what they are going to do. If not, are we not sending out mixed messages to the Chairman, board, etc. Not that they will listen but it is very odd how Bobby is getting slated in a number of threads and yet the fans who were at the game were singing his name for 90 minutes, or is that where the answer lies?

Some of us weren't! I have said many times - i didnt want him, i dont like him or his style/tactics/man management etc, and the only good thing from my point of view about yesterdays debacle was hastening his departure.............i believe i've been proved right at last. So, i'm no hypocrite and would have said this even if we'd won.<br /><br />-- Sun May 12, 2013 9:55 am --<br /><br />
