Re: if the Owner confirm mancini....
Problem solved.
Jose as manager and Mancini as his number 2.

Again, you don't see the stupidity of what you've posted above??? Are there only two ways to play football - Mancini's way or "shit percentage tactics"???.
There's a big big difference between people preferring Mou to Mancini, and people saying Mou is definitely coming.
ST Coleridge said:What do you clamour for then, Billy? I mean, on the pitch - I'm not talking about body language, or perceived lack of passion, etc. Do you want the famous 'pace and width'? Barca keep possession, and play in front of the opposition's defence - the only difference is that their movement is better. Ours will get there, if we show a bit of patience. This is a model to aspire to, in my opinion. If you want something else, fair enough.
You hold up Spurs as an example - we score more than them, Billy. They played a horrid long-ball game against Milan, and they were similarly shit against WH on Saturday (they played it down the wings, but with only Defoe on they weren't winning any crosses. Redknapp swapped over Bale and Lennon, who were both rendered ineffective when they weren't busting a gut for the byline). You hold up the rags - they came to COMS and were even more cautious than Evil Mancini, as they always are when they play Arsenal or Chelsea.
Ugh, don't be dense - keeping the ball at the back, until the correct passing opportunities present themselves, is obviously preferable to hitting it long/wide and perhaps losing possession. The style is great, it's the execution (movement and passing) that needs to improve.
i could'nt afford the pay cut but its a good shout anyway.bobmcfc said:de niro said:if you must know i'm not going to wembley, i'm refuse point blank to go to another city game whilst we play that type of football.i was talking to a united fan this morning and he said he'd go if he had a ticket, no problem you can have mine, at least they are being used and i'll get my points up for when we do get a good manager.
if your not going to go to city anymore maybe you could form a breakaway club called FC city of manchester. you could be the manager and they'd play the style of football you like.
I'd think he'd failed again to find a decent manager. Or that Mancini had some compromising pictures of Sheikh Mansour.Mancio said:a question for the mancini outers
what would you think about the owner IF he confirm mancini for the next season ?

there is nothing we can do except dust ourselves down and get on with the rest of the season.
BillyShears said:Holding up Barca as an example is pointless - they have technically, the best players in the world. But we'll use it nonetheless. What's the fundamental difference between them and us? Their pressing game. When they lose the ball, they don't all turn and head for their penalty area, they hunt the ball and win it back in packs. That's an enormous and fundamental difference between the way they play and the way we play. It's something which Mancini could implement now if he wanted to.
The rags were more defensive than us at COMS? We obviously watched different games - as to my eyes they were the ones committing men forward in the second half, making changes to win the game. We were the ones sitting back, defending deep, and hoping to nick a goal.
I'm not going to argue the toss about Spurs - I think they play great football. If you think they play a long ball one dimensional game that's your business...
Why is keeping the ball at the back preferable to hitting it wide? Last season we beat Chelsea at SB by utilizing Bellamy's pace from wide areas.
I'm not disputing that possession football is fantastic, but I am disputing that having only one way to play, and only being capable of playing at one pace is a good thing. You say the execution of movement of passing needs to improve - no shit....so how long do we give Roberto to teach our squad of top class footballers to move the ball quicker and increase the speed of thought of their own movement? Do you have any ideas why we have only a handful of times this season managed to play in this manner?
You see, I hear all the excuses - they've been regurgitated all season - but what I'm not seeing is progress on the footballing side. We're as one dimensional, as slow, today as were were when the season started. Mancini's decision making during games is becoming more and more questionable - the latest example being his post match comments that the players were tired after 60 minutes - yet on 75 minutes he was about to bring on Boyata and leave the midfield and forward areas untouched...
