Frankly losing to the worst United side in living memory would be bad if we were on a good run. But after all the ridiculous results recently it's s totally unacceptable.
As people have said, Pep renewing was supposed to be a catalyst to better performances. When in fact the reverse is true.
What really annoys me is that he never gives youth a chance.

Our worst run under Stuart Pearce was 2 wins in 12 games, at the end of the 2005/6 season as far as I can see. If we lose at Villa on Saturday, we'll have 1 win in 12.

Exactly, even when we were shit we weren't this shit. I can't see how it's getting better,the team and manager are offering absolutely nothing to show a way out, things can only get worse!

there has been hubris in the recruitment last summer and this is not altogether mitigated by the uncertainty surrounding Pep. As has been mentioned Nunes hasn't been good enough and we've been happy to recruit 2/3rd tier players that in the past wouldn't have been considered.

This is a dip of 2 months and it will stop with the return of our defense even though I cannot see us going on a winning streak of 13/14 games. So cutting to the chase when will the rot effectively stop I would predict end of Jan/ start of Feb with dramatic improvements as early as next week if Stones and Akanji can play

Glass man Stones is finding it hard get on the pitch at all these days. Problems in attack as well as the defence. Just not at it this season. United are absolute garbage yet we let them off the hook with school boy defending. Unbelievable and fucking annoying.
