The South would fight a dirty campaign, sending aircraft to drop bottles of contaminated Methadone over the concrete Northern wasteland and a sustained bombing campaign of Bingo halls, taking 90% of the adult population out. They would keep the hick town areas of Oldham, Rochdale, Bury etc at bay with the threat of poisoning their whippets and homing pigeons.

never seen someone so proud of living in the rougher part of manchester, and anyway aren't hulme, wythenshawe and moss side all classed as south manchester?

Blackley and Cheetham Hill,were great places to be dragged up in the late 70s,early 80s,(knew no different),a few "characters" about, but mainly good people.
Much rather have a beer with them than the "tofu" brigade from the South.
