Hopefully we finish 3rd as this would give us more time to prepare and if we are in pot 3 or pot 4 it will matter more to the other CL teams as I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to be meeting us.

Just hope we turn Bolton over and Carlos gets the golden boot.

If we beat Bolton then we are 99% certain to be in pot 3.

And some shit team expected to be the whipping boys subject to qualifying rounds going to uefa seeding plans. Although Dortmund and Napoli are in this pot as well.

You're making a lot of assumptions there.

First, if Arsenal qualify for the group stages, they would make Pot 1 and knock Porto into Pot 2, possible knocking another team into Pot 3 and another team into Pot 4.

Second, pots 2, 3 and 4 are very fluid, depending on who qualifies.

Third, why are you counting Rangers etc when they haven't qualified?

Fourth, to dismiss Pot 4 teams as 'whipping boys' is extremely naive.

Borrusia Dortmund are in it for a start and, last season Rubin Kazan drew with Barca away, having beaten Roma away the previous season.

Cluj got a draw with Chelsea two years ago.
