IF we win the Treble

IF (and I emphasise IF) we win it -

1. We qualified for the CHAMPIONS league as CHAMPIONS of England, the rags qualified as runners up

2. They finished second in their Champions League group, we finished top

3. We won the PL with 89 points, they finished with 79 (and we eased off in the last 2 games and dropped 5 points, they didn’t as they only won the league by a point)

4. In the league we scored 14 more and conceded 4 less goals than them

5. In the fa cup they were drawn at home every round, we were drawn away once. We scored 7 more (in 2 less games) than them, conceded 2 less, and most importantly we beat those cunts

So based on the objective statistics, IF we win the treble, I don’t think there’s any doubt who the better team is, but of course we have to win the CL first. Anyone who thinks Fergiscum’s 99 rats were better and played better than Pep’s 23 geniuses is seriously deluded.

I did read one report that suggested their‘s would be a better treble simply because they made harder work of it!
 
Pep and players won’t take Inter or the result for granted. They know Inter are a good team and can beat City. Deep down I don’t think the fans will take the result fir granted either. If City play how they can play, I feel confident City can and will beat Inter.

IF.. we do go on to win the CL then it'll obviously be compared to Rags 99. We'll say ours is better, they'll say theirs is better. One thing is IF we do win it we'll be statistically better across the board.
 
If…..it’s trebles all round.
We would be the ONLY CLUB to have done this treble AND the DOMESTIC clean sweep which Taggart said was impossible.

So agree here.

We need to be patient and calm, making sure the likes of Grealish and Haaland don't get sucked into aggressive responses to their shithousery, as that's exactly what they will try. They know that they are unlikely to beat us in a straight game of football so they will rely on any trick in the book to level the playing field

I have it on good authority that next year, to put an end to all the boring questions about who is better, United's treble winners, City's, the centurions, Mourinho's Chelsea 2004, Arsenal invincibles etc. Pep is going to win the Septuple while going undefeated in the league conceding only 13 goals and getting 106 points.
