If we win the UCL, will we play the Club World Cup?

Thats probably covers 3 PL games, right before the busy december holiday period. Only for a trophy, that EVERYONE except the club that wins it, thinks is worthless.

And if we think this club will get special dispensation (Like United) to maybe not play the FA cup 3rd round they got another thing coming, we will be given no favours and tbh we will be treated like its our own fault. No favours especially when we've got so much money, such a large squad, cheated our way to titles. It WILL be fixture hell and they will love it.

If we could send a representation from the club I wouldnt mind but they demand the top stars go and play this money making FIFA tournament.

I don’t think it’s worthless. It’s nowhere near as important to us as the CL but saying “EVERYONE“ is clearly wrong. It’s easily more important than the Copa Libertadores to fans in South America so I don’t think we can start ignoring continents.

It used to be a bit of a laugh to European teams twenty years ago but clubs tend to really want to win it these days and when you look at the money involved from the future expanded FIFA tournament EVERYONE will be taking that seriously.
 
Nice to know we could face Benzema and Kante's Al- Ittihad in the CWC if we get there

Either way if we get to Saudi and win the whole thing, I'll 1000% get the new kit with the CWC winners' badge on it (if I can)

The problem for me, is that it's expected that the Europeans win it.

The last 10, and 15 of the last 16 have been won by the UEFA CL winners.

I do remember that game. About 5 players were sent off (3 from Racing club and 2 from Celtic). Winger Bobby Lennox was also sent off but refused to go and gave the ref several V signs as a mark of respect. He also 'helped' an injured opposition player off the field by dragging him across the touchline by his injured foot. Happy days.
