Cuadradro is Dani Alves replacement in waiting.

No he's not

"Juan Cuadrado's agent has revealed that the on-loan Udinese star is happy to remain with Fiorentina, although he has not thought about a permanent move to the club in the summer."

You understand the concept of an expression do you not? He fits the mould of a Barca wingback. If they or Real came calling he'd be gone.

I don't get it,

good for Barca or Real......Why not us though?

Its interesting how many of the best wingers are converted into the cf role with telling results. Bale will be the same , he has stepped up to the central role and is already looking a world beater. He would be devasating in our set up linking with aguero. The tottenham tax will be heafty and only worth it if he is over his injury history.

No he had his chance and flopped at Barca
Your fucking retarded if u wouldn't take him cuz he flopped at barca..so I guess ibrahimovic is a flop too..some of the worlds best players would struggle to adapt to a system that players in that system have learned since they were 10..pure idiocy

There are just some players that we will lose out to. I've heard and seen too many rumours of this guy moving to Spain to suggest that he will go anywhere else. The one thing that both Real and Barca lack are fullbacks in the vein of the ones we have in England. Guys like Essien, Adriano and Arbeloa are simply not good enough for them.

Barsa's Sanchez is now linked with us.
He would be amazing for us, it was always obvious he wouldnt work in the Barca team it was like they bought him just to prove they are the biggest club in Europe because rags and us wanted him

Sanchez is a no brainer , he's got the ability to be direct on the wings , but could be versatile to play anywhere across the front 4 in a 4321.
We were willing to break the bank for the lad two years ago, it's fair to say we wouldn't have to quite do that this year and the lads still only just turned 24

I always said we should of signed Bale, from day one when everyone was saying he is overrated and inconsistent. Players like Bale probably won't turn it on every game, but you will get a good 10-15 wins out of them because a player like him is a match winner. Class.

If your looking at other targets i would say...

Marco Reus- Offer us width, pace and possibly goals
Iker Munian- Wouldn't say he is an out an out winger, but he is the type of player we need. Determined, fast, skilful and very technically gifted with good creative abilities.
Isco- Hardly a winger also, but can offer us pace still and is also a very good technician.
Mario Gotze- Pretty much same as the previous 2 i mentioned, but can adapt to a wide role, plus giving us more creativity in the side.
Alexis Sanchez- Maybe not done it at Barca, but he is a very skilful player with power and is also very very fast. Something City have lacked for the past 2 seasons. Pace out on the wings is essential.
Jesus Navas- Excellent crosser of a ball and would offer us a lot of width, doubt he would come due to being homesick.
Stevan Jovetic- Another one of those players who is not an out an out winger, but we could use him as an inside forward, very good player who is the type of character we need in our side. Very determined with a good football brain.

As someone has already mentioned, Valbuena would possibly be a shrewd signing, probably would not cost a lot but he would offer us pace and does seem to be a very hard working player, unlike Nasri who can be a lazy bastard. I personally think we should of signed Lucas Moura when we had the chance, unbelievably quick and could of only got better. Would of been a handful in the Premier League. Would be scary.

People who are saying Di Maria are being very very unrealistic. From Real Madrid to Manchester City... come off it. Cuckoo land.
