If you don't like Oasis, don't open this thread

struggle with Morning Glory nowadays

will never tire of Definately,Maybe and The Masterplan
I still think it's a great record and agree with you on the other 2. May sound a little dated now to some but I was 24 when it came out and still got a buzz out of getting it. I'd had the Roses,Madchester and Raving and they had the swagger to keep me interested. Other than a couple of decent songs afterwards they were never the same. As I posted earlier in this thread Noel was knocking out B-sides better than most bands a-sides around this time

I still love WTS(MG?) too. Hey Now is a particular favourite.

I think I bought it after school and listened to it on my Discman on the way home.

Running a coach to any away game. Bung Oasis on and the trip is off to a flyer.

Cannot be underrated in that aspect.

Once the choir is up and running, open the floor to requests.

Bluetooth and getting it linked to the coach stereo make for a great trip

25 years ago today.

Remember queueing up at HMV Market Street to buy it

Favourite album of all time by a mile
So many memories of that time and those songs
Cast no shadow, she’s electric, morning glory and champagne supernova didn’t even make it as singles
The b sides at that time as well!
Masterplan, acquiesce and half the world away
25 years Passed so quick, can’t believe it

Had a portable CD player and some shitty speakers
Played it over and over
Literally every day for a year or so

And that's what makes it a special album for many people like yourself and don't ever let anyone tell you your wrong. Can't agree with She's Electric tho. Always thought it was a bit of a throwaway song.

Have to say I find that tune the weakest one on the album. But opinions will always differ I guess. Still up there for me as one of the great albums of all time with some shit hot tunes that I still blast out regularly. Not been a decent band of any real stature since oasis. Again that’s my opinion but I can honestly say I had some of my greatest memories going to watch these guys!!!

Like you say it's all about opinion. Arctic Monkeys say hello by the way!!

It was so bad it was good, now they would leave it off but then it didn’t matter
It was effortless at that time
They were so popular it was unreal, they were unlike anything at her time
They just didn’t give a shit and didn’t play the game, they were just like us
