If you were in his shoes.

I would go to work on our potential signings, get them all done an dusted asap (obv when window opens).

Would tell players that were no longer required, to start looking for another club.

Would tell the managers/coaches that I want more improvement, and that I will not tolerate a backward step.

I would tell MH to pack his bags and be gone by the time Franl Rykaard get here

I keep hearing this about the so called big names, no matter how big you are the top players still wont come until we have european football. give hughes a full pre season and transfer window give him a a chance, turn up next sunday and every game after that and be the same as last night.

Stick with him and proper City fans know that this is the right thing to do!

That's bollocks. Being a proper City fan has nothing to do with whether Hughes should go or stay. It's a matter of opinion.

But it sums up the holier than thou shit-wittery that passes for debate around here sometimes. If you don't think Hughes is a good manager, then you aren't a proper City fan. Just fuck off.

What did it for me was his total "eggs in one basket" approach to the transfer window in January. It was clearly obvious that we needed a frontman from September onwards last year, yet when the window opened we didnt have a plan B.

There's fuck all going in January and we weren't prepared to pay extortionate prices (RSC)

Missing out on Diarra and signing de Jong instead proves that there were 'plan B's'

And getting rid of another manager is the right thing to do?

Even though he has brought in some great players and has seemingly dealt with the dead wood?
Got us too another quarter-final?
Improved our home form?
Changed the structure and attitude of the team?

stick to hughes, fantastic tactics, and takes off our best player that can win the game

??????????????????

i'd get mourinho in with that dosh

Get shut at end of season if he has not achieved 7th spot.
He was hired and given every opportunity to improve us.

As someone said, its what any real MCFC supporter would want ;-)

Actually, I'd also wait to see if last night's game has re-awakened the team and base my decision on how and where the team finishes.

Thats the key IMO.If we down tools now because our season is 'over'(it aint but we need 5 wins imo),then it will reflect badly on Hughes ability to manage the players.
