It was a Thursday night against a relativity unknown Danish team, Live on TV, have you not heard there is a Credit Crunch on!

Was there not a credit crunch last week against Villa? Was that a midweek game? Was there a credit crunch at old trafford or anfield?

The excuses coming from the no shows are getting worse.
Got this far on this thread to find a fool. Last week's game was attended by season ticket holders, who bought their tickets early last year. Now roll on 2009 credit crunch/recession and game not paid for already within season ticket price

Some city fans should wake up and smell the coffee

Appreciate that in some circumstancies it is not possible to make the odd midweek game but to regularly get over 40K for the premier but not over 30K for the uefa cup despite vastly different prices is unexcuseable.
But most people have already paid for the midweek games on their season ticket.

Oh and sorry I couldn't make it, I had to work back late. It was nice seeing you all on the telly though. :)

lol ive been called a 'dickhead' and 'immature' for creating the thread

for what i can see we have 15 pages of people who have either gone to the game and are embarrassed about the attendance or posters making excuses why they werent there.

sadly, those who werent there tonight will be the same ones claiming we have 'the best fans in the world', fact is, we dont even have the best support in manchester.

"FOR FUCK SAKE CITY, PLEASE GET IN EUROPE SO I CAN WATCH IT ON THE BOX WITH MY SLIPPERS ON!!!!"

I cant wait till we play Barca in the champs league in afew years infront of 29k.......
I was quite happy watching it at home with my slippers on
the sort of fan we dont need....

josh...just as a matter of interest.....do you go to all the away games, fa cup & carling cup games....if not, think about what you have just said

Mods , these attendanace threads need deleting.

Obviously people cant go to games for various reasons. I couldnt get to the Omonia game,if we get through and are at home on the 30th April I am in London town on business and will not be able to get to the game, and thats the semis.
How shit do you think I feel about that.

We are not the rags with thousands of tourist buying tickets as part of their package trip.

Only thing is the ones who are'nt going now still wont be able to go next year if we qualify, and the year after , and the year after that etc etc etc but at least the attendances will go up as they will be replaced by plastics

couldnt give two shits who went and who didnt, if i was sat at home and heard that song id of laughed my fucking head off, thought city fans had a sence of humor.

Touchy touchy - you don't have a season ticket and guess you are not generally (Other than your earlier visit) one of the 40K? As most of those that attend the Uefa Cup games are the season ticket holders the difference in the crowd is generally the none season ticket holder!
