To those who went to the match - I'm proud of you.

To those who were unable to for whatever reason (like myself) - I feel for you.

To those who were able to, but couldnt be bothered - I'm dissapointed in you.

I think there will be very few of the latter.

thats what the song was aimed at, poor show that some fans didnt get that

who said city fans have got a sense of humour?

Mate, in a time when everyone, and I mean everyone, is willing us to fail, I find it incredible that after a victory you come on here and start a thread like this. IMO, it's sad and smacks of attention seeking...

BTW...you think Rafa will give Neds a game on Saturday against the rags....;- )

sad? everyone laughed at the song.

"if your watching on the tele your a cnut"

and

"where the fuck are all our fans" lifted the atmosphere and were tongue in cheek. there were other threads about the attendance, not just this one.

24k was embarrassing and thats all the song was funny (to those who could be arsed going), thats all the OP stated. Been quite funny/sad though, all the 'blues' justifying themselves to someone on an internet board

Only at City would you need to take the piss out of your own club's support to lift the atmosphere...

You really are a dumb sixth former...

lol sad bastards.

I live 500 yards from the stadium and I still didn't go. My missus is out of a job and it would be irresponsible of me to spend a further £15.00 on a game that I can catch on T.V. Times are very, very hard for the majority of people right now. I people are still living with their parents and on JSA then great, get a ticket and go. If you've a good job and can afford to go, then great get a ticket and go. If, like me, life is a sruggle at the moment, living paycheck to paycheck and sit back and watch it on t.v. When times become a little easier I'll go.

People with this holier than thou attitude are complete pricks and not in touch with the real world.

Does this apply to me? Hope not cos it would cost me a fookin fortune to fly over for all the matches. However, I try and get to some when I come over.

mate, it certainly does not apply to you, our to any fan that didn't go! its like some people just go to the game, record our attendance down! not even watch city! and frog march back home to thier computers and have a fooking woman about the attendance, and have the cheek to ridicule people if they didn't go.....

what's gonna fuck me right off is if/when we get to the final even tho i've been to all euro home matchs i wont get a ticket coz somebody who just turns up with more points will be ahead of me even tho they haven't been to any euro matches!! thats where loyalty points are shit.

fair play to the people who go home and away matches i have no problem with them getting first choice,

oh and i'd love to go to away euro matches but i havent got the cash to buy a passport and flights accom and match ticket!

in taking some time off from this thread, tired of all the justifications

im sure i will see many in istanbul, and those who can't get tickets, tough shit

best fans in the world? not even in manchester nowadays

You're right. The best fans in the world wouldn't slag off other fans of their team.
