Iker Casillas

Would be the Hart/Given situation all over again. Can't imagine Iker would settle with being second fiddle and Joe might feel undervalued. Happy for Panti to stay for the time being.
 
As good as he is we don't need Casillas. Hart is by far the best goalkeeper around and the back up from CP is clearly good enough for our needs.
So Joe makes the odd mistake we all know that a goalkeeper's errors are invariably seriously punished but I would not swap Joe hart for ANY other keeper! and he's CITY through to his toenails!

Real always want big money. They'd want big money for a hot dog seller. You stick a goalie on the bench, no matter how good, and ask for big money? 'Nother Spanish trick! And keep off that reef in Gib!

I'd agree of it wasn't a keeper.
But you buy another 1st choice keeper and then Hart sits on the bench for whole long before he gets pissed off and demands to leave?
Pants is sick of it himself so why would Hart stay?

So if we're getting another no.1 keeper Hart by default has to go.
