I almost wet miself with delight at the thought of a fully fit Gundogan competing with Silva, KDB & Fernandiho. We can now swap & change, mix and match and retain the same level of performance. Thank you Pep! :-)

This guy's the real deal. I can see why the rumour is that Pep passed on Pogba in favour of him. Tight control, great short passing and keeps the tempo high. He reminded me of Owen Hargreaves in that really short period of time when he was at his best. He looks yet another stunning signing. I am hugely impressed.

Yep. Players all look leaner, fitter and like they believe in what they are being asked to do and themselves again.
Make no mistake tonight, BMG are a decent side and we absolutely mullered them.

They looked very sharp that first 20 minutes but we took them apart. They had 10 minutes or so before half time when they went all out and did ok for a short while, but after that very short and relatively minor spell they'd blown themselves out and we took them to the cleaners.

This lad can play a bit , if that his debut after 4 months on the sidelines , can't wait when he's match fit , i was disappointed when we let Nasri go , but after witnessing Nolito , Sane and now Gundogan , you can see why Samir was loaned out , and why yaya has been discarded , that Pep bloke knows his onions.
