Great as a player who can come in for Kev or Silva against anyone outside the top 6.

Against top quality he does up short.

I just don’t get him. Rarely does he have a match winning game. Average at best.

Might have once been a good player but the injuries have taken their toll.

Goes missing, pulls out of challenges and doesn't influence games.

He even managed to make Henderson look good which is astonishing.

Big upgrade needed in the summer.

Needs to leave. With 2 medals in hand he'll have barely contributed to getting.

Absolute disgrace to call himself a professional with that performance, I mean just watch him on that first goal. He stood and watched for a good 6 seconds as it happened.

Not all his fault tonight obviously. But when you have someone that slow in midfield agaisnt a top notch side like liverpool were tonight you are going to struggle big time. Sorry but very average for me and always has been.

I don't think a few on here realize how good of a player he is to be a backup midfielder. Just about any team in Europe would kill to have someone like Ilkay come off the bench.

We have a genuine star in Bernardo and need to start using him in the middle more. Need a more effective rotation for KDB than Gundogan this summer unfortunately.

this is what I don't understand. I have a point, usually after a season and a half where I make my mind up about a player. I'm usually, but not always right (Ota was the one I was wrong about). Gundogan should not be keeping Bernardo Silva out of the team. His performance tonight was just abject. I'm not talking about tactics or him being out of position. I'm talking about commitment, energy, intelligence, tactical awareness and fighting for the team you play for. Either he is physically not up to this type of challenge or mentally his injuries have 'done him'. Whatever. sorry to say this but he should sold this summer. Bernardo deserves a run in the team in the position he was bought for.
