Yes but a lot of those passes, were exactly the kind of passes which the computer guys on here argue like fuck that we can't have in this team.

Someone gives an absolute masterclass of uninspired passing, missed opportunities for through balls & dangerous lapses & the same people say it's perfectly ok.

Gundogan at times, was like an English national team centre mid. Just not ready to receive the ball & do something with it.

Ott criticism imo.

Ilkay Gundogan to Sport Arena Plus: "I was very close to signing for Barcelona, but at the end, it didn't happen. But now I am where I want to be and I am very happy."

Gundogan: "Klopp loved me, but I decided to go with Guardiola because his philosophy was very similar to my game. Klopp is like a father to me. Guardiola, a genius, and a teacher, he's the best coach in the world."

So if the rumours are true & we sign Fred, which of City's midfielders do you think will lose the most appearences next season, to accomodate him ?

And if he'd signed in Jan, do you think Gundogan would have played the last two games ?
Fernandihno. Shirley, this isn't rocket science.

I would be amazed if Gundogan left. He appears to absolutely in the club's plans and unless I watch a different game to others on here, he is doing well. As I said previously, Bernardo was subject to similar criticism until the last fortnight, as was David Silva when he first featured.

He has been here for nearly two seasons.

Would you say he is better now than his first games ?

No. I thought he was excellent before his injury. I think there are very good signs he is approaching that form and that would make him one of the very best central midfielders in the Premier League. I personally am happy to give him more time to get there as his current level is already very high IMO.

Whilst I have some concerns about his attitude, Pep clearly rates him quite highly, which is good enough for me.
