I think he's going to be very good if he comes in for KDB, not KDB of course but very good....
Obviously i have, my point was that city`s central midfield has no pace and gudun is the slowest if he is to survive here we need youth and pace to balance his quality as Pep uses pace to gain the high press and the quick turn aroundhave you seen the games he played when ferna was out or he had to come in,?
Our mid isn't extremely pacy - but our counterpress isn't based on pace.Obviously i have, my point was that city`s central midfield has no pace and gudun is the slowest if he is to survive here we need youth and pace to balance his quality as Pep uses pace to gain the high press and the quick turn around
I agree to everything you have said but the first line,Our mid isn't extremely pacy - but our counterpress isn't based on pace.
We play positional football - we occupy spaces on attack creating triangles to maximize passing opportunities with no attacker on the same vertical or horizontal line. If the ball turns over, our optimal attacking formation means that we'll be in extremely good position to cut off opponent passes. Extreme pace isn't required - just positional awareness. The man closest to the ball presses, and the rest of our side cuts off passing angles.

Gundogan is extremely gifted. I think he's best at dual pivot to link play. Still, he's got a very good shot on him and if not under extreme pressure can pick a pass, albeit not as well as - for example - KDB, or our Silvas.
I think that Gundogan will remain in our side and as we become better at keeping the ball - his skillset - picking a pass when not under pressure - scoring from deep midfield when not pressed - will come to the fore.
I've no inclination whatsoever to wish that he's traded.
