Actually that's not even true at all. I'm trying to figure out what his value is that he contributes to the team. Everyone made mistakes in the match but the issue that I'm struggling to figure out are what exactly his positive contributions are. Would you like to explain them? Genuinely curious.

i really don't understand anyone claiming to support a team who would actually look out for one player hoping as I said he makes mistakes

not pointing out mistakes you fucking watched gundogan with the sole purpose of spotting mistakes.

It's not pathetic at all. I have an analytical mind and I'm genuinely trying to learn what he does that people rate him for. I want to understand what he contributes and what his role is because it's literally just pass to pass to the guy closest to him and move a yard or two. Is that all?

Just tell me his role is to move the ball as quickly as possible and I'll be done with it. If there's other things that he does that I'm ignorant to then please inform me of them.

Yes. That's all he does is make short passes and make himself available quickly again. He doesn't like to hold onto the ball so therefore he doesn't dribble and create like David does around the box. He doesn't have pace or strength so he doesn't try to create space by beating a man. He doesn't have the vision or willingness to play early balls like Kevin does. He doesn't have the defensive attributes or grit to play as a DM. He seems to only like making safe decisions with his passing so how is he effective as a deep lying play maker?

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. He can retain possession and move the ball quickly extremely well though. That might legitimately be all that's needed of him...I have no idea.

I typically don't insult our players in threads bud...I just think Gundogan sucks and am willing to concede that I might be missing a few things but I highly doubt it. Maybe @Dax777 can inform me.

Anyone who looks for what a player doesn't do can easily find it.

Gundogan has an immaculate first touch; a quick half turn to start attacks; good passing ability with either foot and an ability to doctate the flow of the game.
