I’m going to make a concerted effort to do a hard reset on my opinions of him. I’m also aware that I have unorthodox views of football and a few weeks back I posted that the only thing he seemingly does is move the ball adound as quickly as he can so it’s nice to see that Meulensteen has effectively said that’s what his role is supposed to be.

I’m curious as to what these improvements would even be? Crisper passing and slightly more intelligent passes and movement? It kind of felt like he was already doing everything asked of him as far as my views of what his job is. I hope he starts so I can focus in on him.

Thirdly he was easily brushed off in a dual at midfield and a clear run was made. Finally there was a dual near the end at the top of the box where he was easily brushed off. He had a 100% pass succession rate though...

Actually that's not even true at all. I'm trying to figure out where his value is and what he contributes to the team during matches because I legitimately only see his mistakes in matches. Everyone made mistakes in the match but the issue that I'm struggling to figure out are what exactly his positive contributions are.

He's a squad player and a decent footballer...that I'm well aware of.
