I think because the commentators don't continually shout his name, the unfortunate struggle to see what he does, however he was incredible this evening, even if they did not hear his name often.
He suffered from injuries and people seem never to have taken to him, but he’s a joy to watch. It’s like watching the mechanism of a good watch, doesn’t seem to be doing much but powers all the other bits.

No, he is top drawer but City have always had a problem with fans who have to have a scapegoat. I love the club with all my heart, having been born in Moss Side in '68, but it's the one part of the club that I cannot abide.

That is exactly how I feel.
I remember ian bowyer as a little kid getting it, and i failed to understand it then.
But this player is rated by the top coach's in the World and some nobs without a single coaching badge think that they know better.
I suppose all clubs have clueless people as fans , but you would think as the genius that is pep Guardiola picks him for important games would mean that they would shut their mouths and not embarrass themselves.

Very underrated. Completely bossed the midfield. The Rodri-Gundo double pivot with KDB as a free is our best midfield by far. Made Modric and Kroos look ancient.
That’s because they are.
I thought Gundogan was decent enough. Rodri is the slowest thing I have seen since Rick Holden.
