I'm getting tired of everyone calling Gundo old - I checked his birthday and I'm about 2 weeks older than him. He's a spring chicken with his best years ahead of him

There's a possibility the players we might be after aren't available until next Summer, I'm thinking Wirtz and Musiala. A season of Gundogan would bridge that gap nicely.

We are well covered in midfield Gundo isn't a priority.

If Pep wants him amd it see cancelo gone for good then that is all we need to know, Gundo won't let us down, 35 or not

Could see him back as a player/coach, was taking his badges when he left.

I pefer him to be a coach his best years as a player are behind him. We would still need to bridge that gap once he retires along with the likes of De Bruyne, Walker and possibly Ederson. It would be too much change in one transfer window.

Will only be short term as a player though. Even if he gets used sparingly he can still perform when called upon and his experience is invaluable. No brainer IMO.

Even for the short term it wouldn't be the wisest of choices. Serie A would be ideal for the legs
