I think this ship has sailed. He will be 28 next year, I know we have bought experienced midfielders before but I think next year is the influx of youngsters.
He won't ever play again after his hearing for the betting. What makes you think that mate?
Again we should be looking forwards when signing players and not backwards. There are examples where clubs shouldn't sign their former stars even after having a good season. Ronaldo being the recent one.Oh right. Because he was the best player in La Liga last season and created more chances than anyone else in the entire league. And you feel free to list some of the creative players currently playing in that league.
Oh and the greatest manager in the history of professional football contacted him within moments of hearing he was avaliable in order to convince him to sign for the club.
This is the guy who let Hart, Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho and Aguero walk instead of retiring here and you're concerned about City being too sentimental
Just read an interesting take on this on a West Ham site. They reckon that Gundy is a stop gap until the Paqueta decision drops and then we go back in for him. Interesting theory.
(apologies if already mentioned)
Again the solution isn't bringing him back in a playing capacity. We have Kovacic and although he doesn't score many he still can do the rest of Gundogan's game with a bit more mobility.Your problem with him coming is we would have to replace him in a couple years? We have been searching and been unable to find a 'replacement! all summer, for this season.
Hammers NewsWas it KUMB?
I wouldn’t bet on it.He won't ever play again after his hearing for the betting.
