he goes at the pinnacle of his city career, the captain of the treble, he will get a tasty signing on fee ,very good wages and get to play for barca because which footballer in reality wouldn't want to play for them , they still have a massive pull in the game , good luck to the lad and his family , he oozed class even though a lot on here couldn't see it at the time, glad he made the doubters change their minds.quality

I also suspect we are doing deals in the background and it’s about moving pieces
I.e sign kovacic them lose gundo, then sign gvardiol and sell Laporte
If you sell before you buy the price goes up

Child arrived in March. I am devastated, who will get us over the line every Feb to May.

That’s absolutely fine mate but you are basically saying a few on here have lied then or have no idea , I genuinely don’t care if someone wants to leave they are not City fans like me and you , he wanted to go to Barca from around Christmas time I have no issue with it just say so , it’s not a big deal , onwards and upwards

Of course we knew. The idea of him leaving at the end of his contract was originally ours. Of that I have no doubt.
 
Can’t blame Gundo wanting to go and with thanks.
Captained the treble winning side and was brilliant for us especially the last 18 months.
As others state - he’s 33 and was playing g in a very physical League.
I thinks it’s right time and not be too sentimental about it.

He probably did tell pep and txiki.
He has no reason to announce it to the world.
