I'll be the first. Mancini out

What I don't think people understand is how long it actually takes for a manager and a team to get to the point where they know eachother, understand eachother, trust eachother and know how they work.
We can't keep building up, scrapping it at the first sight of trouble and starting again. It takes to long and it wasts a lot of work put in. And usually when a manager goes his staff, like the assistant coaches and such go with him. Mancini out, but what then? What a waste of time that would have been, and will be.

Just my opinion, but...

The side he put out tonight showed how far up the list of priorities the League Cup is to us. Surely then, any debate is not about what team was put out it's whether this cup should be a priority to us due to our current spell without a major honour?

For me, I'm naturally disappointed with the result and the fact we are out of a cup comp, but I'm genuinely not that arsed. Clearly the Europa and the League itself are far more important (we won't know about the FA Cup until January), and if that is the case, I'd posit that has been agreed among the club's hierarchy; and if that's correct, we possibly shouldn't be doing too much naval gazing about this?
Of course it has, the sooner people realise this the better.

The problem is a lot of posters aren't taking this into consideration

Oh disaster, disaster, we need to rest our key players and have a fully fit team for Saturday. So, gosh we give our much vaunted youth players a go against a full strength wba and lose by 1 goal away.
To the OP, go and support County.

Hughes was 4th in the league and in the Semi's and got the sack. Mancini has brought nothing to the club except a couple of his out of work mates.

1. He wasn't 4th in the league.

2. Perhaps that shows how highly the Sheik & Khaldoon regard the Carling Cup.

Whilst I'm not calling for Mancini's head , if you think that Khaldoon and
the Sheik will be happy about us being knocked out you are kidding yourself.
They know that ANY Trophy will not only boost us but boost Abu Dhabi's
profile as well, that's what it's all about. Yes there are more glamourous trophies
that we are involved in but this was a shameful throwaway tonight.

I must also say that I actually feel sorry for those posters who have comitted the
crime of critiscising Mancini tonight. Any negative post is immediately pounced
upon by numerous happy clappers who claim to know what the board are thinking
or take anything said against Mancini as a personal insult. Mediocrity is settled for
and not defensible, Mancini is NOT perfect and does make mistakes. To have a
debate you need opposite points of view , otherwise you have a cult. I joined
Bluemoon for the debate.

Said before the game im not too bothered if we lose because the carling cup is the least important competition to us this year. I know its a chance to win a trophy but we have 3 more chances and i think we will take them a lot more seriously.

However the side that Mancini put out was a disgrace and it was obviouse that he wanted to lose the match, i know it sounds mad but its true. I really rate Boyata and Guidetti but to put Vidal, Mee and Cunningham in to the back 4 is a joke. To completely change a back 4 shows that he wasnt taking the comp/opponents seriously. The game was there to give some youngsters experience but also to gel the team more, i know we have a lot of injuries but surely SWP, Silva, Zabaleta and Kompany could of started if they where named on the bench.

The formation also did make sense. 4 defenders(fine), 2 central midfielders, 1 winger and 3 strikers. How unbalanced is that? Just doesnt make sense to me and shows that Mancini doesnt give a toss when it comes to the carling cup this year, hope hes not like this in the f.a cup because if he is then we will only have 2 competitions that we can win
