I doubt anyone was thinking that. Perhaps people were thinking that he's more likely to score a scrappy 2 yarder than anyone else - you know, like he has done numerous times since he's been here(and even in 1st half of today's game)?

Don't talk about footballing knowledge. It's laughable. Barry should have come on for a defender or De Jong (infact De Jong shouldn't have even started today) not for a player who has shown time and time again, for West Ham, the Rags and City, the ability to score important goals even if not playing well.

RSC for Milner was just as bad of a substitution, if not worse. RSC thrives on crosses - Milner is one of the better crossers of the ball in England.

I don't want Mancini out but I do want him to adapt to the Premier League -NOT try and make the Premier League adapt to him. He will fail to do the latter.

LOL yeah, Take our talisman DeJong off because Tevez is bound to score isn't he? Rain or fucking shine!

Get a grip people.

Good post Elanjo.

I've supported the blues for more years than I care to remember and I can honestly say that I have never booed the team.
Yes, I have been frustrated and angry with performances but I love this club and always look forward with hope that we'll win the next game. Lifes a roller coster with City and my support is undying. Booing does not help the players but showing great support does or should if the players have any feelings at all.
It'll come good if we have patience. The worry is that if the support degenerates as it has with some sections of the crowd the owners might feel we don't deserve their money and take it elsewhere!

This is exactly the thing i posted about earlier! Sheik mansour seen a business opportunity when he took us over! Even if he did take away the funding, we'd still be there, wether it was in the premier league, the championship or platt fields!

Check through my posts re: this subject if you can be arsed, you'll find i am a supporter of bobby and have always said give it time.

I have never booed the boys or the manager before, Yes even under ball, horton, royle and pearce! Today i was incensed with the tactics, the boring fucking shit build up play to nothing, hart taking an age to distribute the ball, as there was no outlet. We pass a million times then end up back at our keeper! Barry for tevez????????????????? What about jo for tevez? His negative shit is starting to wear thin with me, always worrying about the other team, instead of playing to our own. We are sorely missing bellers it's never been more evident than today. His shite formation isolates carlos, and it's beginning to show. If it wasn't from some fortunate refereeing, mancini would be on the brink.

Come on bobby sort it fucking out!

i agree whole heartedly, people can boo if they fucking want to. end of

iv never booed city an never will, but iv never heard so much booing over a sub before,an i think it was born out of frustration at what we have been watching lately

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Haha! Fair play to you.

I must admit, for the first time in 30 odd years I nearly let a boo loose today. But somehow and I'm not quite sure how, I didn't.

Like i my original post mate, i've never booed under horton, royle, pearce or ball. I didn't boo today, i did vent a bit at the substitution, then left in disgrace! I want to shake this 'ickle city' tag off and force people to believe, but when bobby is being negative it's hard, it really is!
