I'm Sorry, But I Have To Say It.......

Just enjoy the ride, hope it goes on and on, and forget the grief you got for saying what you believed in.

Exciting times for all of us, I hope we can all put the Hughes era behind us and celebrate the club moving forward.

Good start under Mancini and that's where it starts and ends for now.

We know that we can compete and have nothing to fear against any side in the premiership.

If the players mental approach to games remains focussed on what is needed to win a game of football then we should have a good season.

The feeling of knowing Hughes isnt fucking up our city side any longer is one of pure joy :)

Gotta agree with you. First time in ages ive felt comfortable with teams whipping in corners because we have seen to have sort the marking out good and proper. Not going to bum Mancini just yet (will if we beat United next week), but early signs are starting to show how much better he is than Hughes.

Need to calm down now, got a little bit excited typing that, we'll only end up losing to Boro on Saturday!

this is all correct, but I've seen a team more peaceful and secure its means and this is already very important to win against the smaller teams in the City. . .

You just knew he was holding us back. You just knew it.

Hughes is gone, he's history, and people are gonna say don't go on about him, the amount of times i've said he's inept is unreal,

But i've had soooooooooo much shit thrown at me on here off certain people for months and been slated about my view on hughes and people saying that i'm the one who 'doesn't have a clue', so i'm gonna sum it up all in one sentence and give it you all back.........

MANCINI DID 2 THINGS IN 2 DAYS WHICH HUGHES DIDN'T DO IN 18 FUCKING MONTHS.

POINT MADE

THAT IS ALL.

You spoil your argument by using descriptions which don't hold up when you sift through a few facts. Hughes was far from an 'inept' manager. He still had a lot to learn and he was required to amass a lifetime's experience in less than a season. Different managers will adopt different styles, world class managers will have a variety of styles and this comes with season after season in the top flight. Mancini might be a better manager short, medium or long term but the initial success he has had, for which we should be very grateful, doesn't make Hughes inept.

Let's have a great discussion-cum-argument but don't ignore what is staring us in the face. Mancini has paid tribute to the team Hughes assembled.

Thank fuck he has gone, we can finally start waking up to our REAL potential.

For me the hardest thing was knowing we had everything fine tuned except for the most important part, watching sides dismantle us each week was like seeing your championship winning race horse getting banged by a pony....Hard to watch, utterly disapointing and a big big set back!!!

Let's not get into a fight about Hughes, time to move on I thinks.
