Fergie has the refs exactly where he wants them. They are petrified of him because if they give a decision against them Fergie will give them a tongue lashing and call their ability into question and the media will eat it all up. So the refs just bottle it and give United the "benefit of the doubt" every single time. Fergie has far too much power over the refs and I can't fucking wait till he retires so the refs will once again have the balls to give decisions against United.

This is what should be clamped down on. Refs get ostracised from Old Trafford if Fergie doesn't like them, there's simply no way he should have that level of power.

It was a blatent penalty, but to be fair, the foul that Barry commited v Stoke was even more of a blatent penalty and that went unnoticed too. This is not an example of corruption, it's an example of incompetence.

I think the push on Barry for the Stoke goal was a foul.

At the Chelsea game my first reaction was Barry had being pushed by Luiz but on the replays I think it was only a nudge, Barry should have being stronger. Although had we not gone on to win I think I might have a different view!

Whilst there is no doubt Fulham should have had a penalty tonight, that Barry tackle was the definition of stone wall. Completely missed the ball and could have broken his ankle. If that was a City striker in the box getting crunched like that and the ref didn't give it you'd be going mental and you know it.

I think United have had many things go there way this year... Are the refs corrupt? No. Intimidated? Possibly.

If we had played today and United drew on the weekend then United's forum would be full of people asking about Barry's handball at Stoke City.

We are still 3 points in touch, that's all we need. They didn't gain much goal difference so all we can do is just stay within reach come Derby Day... They will drop points elsewhere besides at the Etihad, we just need to stay within touching distance.

What about the handball that the referee didn't give? It was identical to the Essien handball that City got against Chelsea. Evens itself out, especially as Newcastle got one earlier in the season at Old Trafford.
