Hope we can get third as it will save us a tricky qualifier but it will not be straight forward tonight and at Bolton they are two tough games. One interesting thing it looks like Lyon might miss out in France to PSG so I'd fancy us more against them should it come to that but hopefully it doesn't!

Rather than play two official CL qualifiers in September, let's treat tonight and Sunday as two UNofficial CL qualifiers. We have to win both either way.

I believe we would come up against either Bayern Munich, Benfica, Dynamo Kiev, Villareal or Lyon as things stand across Europe. I think that's right.
So yeah, we could really do with getting 3rd. It will be difficult tonight though. I think Balo is out with another knee injury and i'd imagine we are going to rest a few, with Milner, Vieira, Dzeko etc coming in.

Considering that the group games would be guaranteed...anywhere between £20-35 million just from the CL without all the extras that the club could get in other marketing areas.
