In your opinion, what is the problem with Robinho?

Apart from all the "failing" and "transfer" talk, we aren't really looking as to what the problem might be with Robinho.
How did he fall from the grace of 15 goals in his 1st season to 0 goals (25 shots on goal for the season)?

Is it the formation? Does he really need to be a defensively contributing player (eg Bellamy)?

I think its all psychological.

When Jo and Elano left, he was then the odd man out. He's Brazilian and needs to feel that comradeship around him but he might be feeling marginalized on the team and the love he once felt from the fans has shifted to Bellamy.

Right or wrong on his part to feel that (if even he does), I think he just needs to be shown that we still believe in him and he needs to score.

i think he is a lazy bag of shit who feels he is doing us a favour by wearing our shirt. obvious skill but nothing more this season

he dosnt like the cols, he dosnt like to play away from home , he needs to be loved,he needs to go to BARCA, let him go im sure we can find a more consistant player , who wants to play week in week out, the guys not for us, iwas brilliant at times, he clearly has loads of skill, but it seems he only plays when he feels he wants too.
it saddens me to say it , but he really isnt what we need, and it seems he thinks hes too good for us.

confidence I think if he bags a few goals he would start enjoying football again, but hey what do I know.

We didn't have a good enough team to exploit his talent and skill. Injuries havent helped.

Teams abroad pass, pass, pass whereas I hate to say it, the Premiership is going backwards again and physical aspects of the game seem to matter more. It affects Ireland just as much.

His shit stirring mates have been eased out. Think that sums it up.

Yep , i'd agree with that ...... plus the fact that i'm certain that he wasn't a fan of Mark Hughes , at least not by the end of Hughes's reign anyway!

Elano and JO weren't only Robinhos teamates ..... they were his socialising buddies too .... and i think Robinho became disenchanted when he saw what happened to them ...... and it's hard to believe that neither player hasn't 'rubbished' this club to Robinho in phone calls since too.

His ankle injury certainly didn't help things , neither does the fact that he spends so much time on the bench when he considers himself to be 'world class' ....... but the simple fact is that , even if he finally achieves his desired dream of world status , people will always ask him .. 'why he couldn't perform , as a true world class player really should , for the majority of his time at Manchester City'?

After all , it's hardly stopping the likes of Tevez , is it?

hes not as good as he thinks he is ,the sooner he realises this and starts trying the better !
