Mrs Laser and I once went to Ledbury in Herefordshire where the population seems to be roughly evenly split between inbreds and pikeys.
My job used to take me fairly frequently to Swindon which in its own right is a fucking awful place. (Major attraction - the Magic Roundabout which is a mini roundabout surrounded by 5 other mini roundabout that routinely cause chaos for non-locals). In the town centre precinct you can see the locals in all their glory. Not only aren't there any good looking people of either sex but most of them are decidedly odd looking in a scary, mouth breathing and inbred way.
Hereford, nominated by GDM as OP, is also a good shout as are Margate, Merthyr Tydfil and Berwick-on-Tweed.

I really should add Kirkby-in-Ashfield to the list. I know a couple of lads that own a few pubs in and around that town and it really is the wild west.
